Acosta Danza, company directed by Carlos Acosta, will be presented on May 25, 26 and 27 at the Mussovet Theater in Moscow, as part of the XIII International Theater Festival "Chekhov", held in the Russian capital.
The dance group will present a program conformed by works such as El cruce sobre el Nágara, choreography by Marianela Boán and Around there is nothing, by Goyo Montero, about poems by Joaquín Sabina and Vinicius de Moraes. Also included in the program are duo Fauno, Belgian choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Russell Maliphant's solo Two. Carmen, choreographic version of Carlos Acosta on the well-known novel of Prosper Mérimée, completes the spectacles.
The International Theater Festival "Chekhov" is one of the largest and most prestigious theater forums in Europe. In the 2017 edition, which will be held between May 24 and July 20, there will be companies such as La Comedia Francesa, the Berlin Opera House, the Argentine tango company Metrópolis, the Akram Khan Company of the United Kingdom, Companies of the Bolshoi Theater and the Musical Theater of Moscow, among others.
