Acosta Danza will begin its international presentations with its participation in three European dance festivals, from May 20 to June 3.
With a program composed by the pieces The crossing on the Niagara, by Marianela Boán; Faun of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui; Around there is nothing, Goyo Montero; From top to bottom, by Alexis Fernández (Maca) and Carmen by Carlos Acosta, Cuban dancers will perform on May 20 and 21 at the Lodz Ballet Festival in Poland; Then travel to Moscow, Russia, to perform at the Chekhov Festival, on 25 and 27 May, and on June 3 conclude the tour at the scene of the Bergen Festival in Norway.
These functions will have as an additional attraction the performance of Carlos Acosta with two solos: Two by Russell Maliphant and Memoria by Cuban choreographer and dancer Miguel Altunaga.
Acosta Danza begins to comply with its international commitments of 2017. Countries such as Spain and the United Kingdom already announce the company's next performances.
