Acosta Danza will participate as a guest company in the 27th Alicia Alonso International Ballet Festival of Havana that will be held from October 20 to November 13, 2022.
The company's presentation program announces the presentation of Performance, choreographed by Micaela Taylor, on Sunday, October 23 in the Avellaneda Hall of the National Theater.
On Saturday 29 and Sunday 30, the pieces End of Time, by Ben Stevenson; Nosotros, a duo of Beatriz García and Raúl Reinoso and Paysage, soudain, la nuit, by Pontus Lidberg will be danced at Covarrubias Hall of the National Theater.
Laura Rodríguez, dancer from Acosta Danza, will join the young Yasiel Hodelín, soloist dancer from the National Ballet of Cuba to dance the Diana and Acteon pas de deux, at the gala on November 5, in the Avellaneda Hall. The next day, Rodríguez and Enrique Corrales, a dancer from Acosta Danza, will dance End of Time in the Covarrubias Hall.
As part of the Festival program, Acosta Danza will also perform in other Cuban provinces: on November 2 and 3 it will perform at the Sauto Theater in Matanzas with Paysage, soudain, la nuit and on November 5 and 6 at the Milanés Theater from Pinar del Río, with the pieces Impronta, by María Rovira; Nosotros and Paysage, soudain, la nuit.
