Acosta Danza will participate this Thursday, October 29, in the celebration of World Ballet Day. At half past one in the afternoon of that day, the company will broadcast on its official Facebook channel, one hour of the physical training that the dancers have carried out in these days of pandemic.
The organizers of the event affirm that this year, given the impact that the global pandemic has had on the arts, everything is planned to celebrate "more than ever the emotion and passion for ballet and dance."
As in every opportunity, the World Ballet Day will have as main exponents the Royal Ballet of London, the Bolshoi Ballet of Moscow and the Australian Ballet. Together with them, the most important companies in the world will meet through social networks. Throughout the day the public will be able to enjoy classes, training sessions, interviews, performances and rehearsals without leaving their home.
On this occasion, the National Ballet of Cuba joins the list of participants, expanding the representation of our country in this international dance event.
All broadcasts can be enjoyed by following the hashtag #worldballetday on social media.
